Hi Adriana,

I hope you're well and enjoying the summer. It's been a while and I thought I'd share a few recent pictures of Mylo with you. She is thriving and very well adjusted. She's essentially fully house trained and has done great at puppy school; she knows most basic commands, but her recall still needs a lot of work. The nipping is starting to subside, which we're all thankful for! We are all so in love with her :-)

We'll keep in touch!

Hi Adriana,

Thought it would be nice to send you a update on Brodie, he is doing great & growing so fast. He is now 17lbs & has completed all his vaccinations. Brodie is now attending obedience class & also recently just started going to doggie daycare. The daycare is to keep him social with other dogs & people. He loves it.

Merry Christmas & hope all is going well,
Dale,

Hi Adriana,

I just wanted to touch base with you, and give you an update on Finley. He is growing so much, we were in at the vet this week for boosters, and he weighs 22 lbs! He's going through a leg growth spurt this week, even the vet mentioned how tall he's getting. How does this compare with the rest of his litter?

I want to thank you so much for him, he has brought so much joy and love into our lives, he is the most amazing dog, I am constantly amazed by how absolutely wonderful he is. We have been going to puppy classes and he's doing so well! People comment on how adorable and sweet he is all the time! We love him so much, and I can't imagine life without him! Thank you so much!

Hope you and the family are well.

All the best,
Caitlin, Ethan, and Finley,
Nova Scotia

Good morning, Adriana,

Zoe's personality is everything we could want in a puppy...she is loving, precocious, smart, alert and just plain fun. She was away for three weeks at a specialized training facility and did very well. I am still extremely nervous about off-leash walking but we are working on it in secure areas. She loves other dogs but is definitely submissive. If a dog demonstrates any aggressive behavior she will lie down and roll over. I have never heard her growl at another dog or person. You and your family got her off to a great start in life...she is incredibly socialized.

Kerri Spier and I plan to photograph Winston and Zoe together...the Danjek Duo!

Hi there,

There is no settling down yet - Noel is as energetic and playful as a puppy; in fact she actually hops around. A bit less energy and need for constant play will eventually decrease but I guess this is sign of health. Her coat is amazing too! Her favorite game is toss and catch and she can't stand being away from her people. She is definitely a family member that's for sure.

Her personality is loveable, playful and I think she might believe she is a person. I will admit she is spoiled and it didn't take long to create a princess pup.

Hi Adriana,

Today we celebrate Zoe's milestone. There have been days that I wasn't sure if I'd make it!!! She's doing really well and is the happiest dog. She gets along with all dogs she meets. I send her to doggie day care twice a week, basically for socialization and they said she's the party organizer, gets the group going. They said she is never aggressive and if another dog acts hostile, she just walks away.

Have you heard anything about her brothers and sisters? I hope they are healthy, happy and loving their forever homes.

This winter my husband and I were vacationing on Anna Maria Island in Florida. I was out for a walk and met a couple with a black and white PWD. Of course we started talking and I mentioned that we got our dog in Quebec. Turns out they are from Hudson, where Peter and I stayed last June when we drove up to get Zoe. Can you imagine the coincidence? They got their pup from Ontario. I certainly told them they had a wonderful breeder right in their own back yard!!!

We love our baby and though she's a bit spoiled and has a mind of her own, we will keep her!!! Best to you and your family,
Cindy and Peter Baute,
Rhode Island, USA

We love our pup so much! One year and one month old now and she is an amazing addition to the family. Thank you so much Adriana - our little Miss Yellow from this litter (aka - Nova) has been a perfect match!

She has an amazing personality; so much so that we are strongly considering a sibling addition! Nova has great fun on the trails behind our house with her (now NB but) Cape Breton-born cousin - Piper. Piper is a bit more 'insistent' but they have great fun running all over. There is no question that she has won over my heart in particular, as the doggie Scrooge of the family (despite my growing up with pups).

We really do love her - she's a super smart, very fun lady who loves her morning and evening routine and her 'people' very much. She insists on heading straight away to lie down with momma in the AM and needs to cuddle in bed before insisting on her crate for sleep at night.

Hope to chat again soon. Cheers,
Andy

Hi Adriana,

Hali is Lexi's twin. She is currently tipping the scales at 28 whole pounds. Dr. Robb doesn't think she will go over 34lbs, which is perfect.

Her puppy/obedience training is going well - she housed-trained almost immediately.

She is very pleasant with everyone/everything she meets and she meets a lot of people and pets as we are in a well-populated dog area. We take her a couple of times a week to play with other dogs and the place we take her has other Portuguese Water Dogs there as well.

She pounces .. often creeping up on things/people. She first did this at roughly three months of age and sometimes hides behind things to surprise you (very smart). She does this just like a cat - slowly crouches down and waits for the perfect moment.

We crate her when we are not at home - she is very lucky as this is usually only once daily and that's mostly so she will sleep for a couple of hours. I think you mentioned that you crate your dogs even as adults when you are not at home?

She eats/drinks periodically throughout the day - mostly too busy to eat and she knows it's there if she's hungry.

If I have to be out for the whole day she goes to daycare to play with the other pups and she is so spoiled there that they hand feed her so she will eat at the same time as the other dogs.

Hi Adriana,

Thought I would send you a quick update on Figgy. She's up to 60lbs now but holding steady there. She seems to be at a good weight (she has a good shape and you can feel her ribs). Do you think that is an okay weight? She has calmed down quite a bit now. Everyone loves her. It's actually strange when we go for a walk and nobody stops us to ask what kind of dog she is or give her a compliment! I've attached a picture of her on her new favorite peach - our coffee table - not exactly our favorite though. ;-)

Hope all is well with you and your family,
Andrew

Hi Adriana!

I hope all is well with you.

Just wanted to give you a little update on Leo and to tell you that he is doing amazingly well. He had his vet visit last week and has doubled in size. He is now 15 lbs, very energetic, very playful and just the best. He is smart, he picks up quickly and can be somewhat mischievous when it comes to shoes and toilet paper!

He loves to play with other dogs but never ventures very far. He sleeps in his kennel and I have had no issues with the kennel. He has some accidents in the house but that is normal and I will start trying to train him on the bells hanging from the door this weekend. He is a hit with everyone and the star of my building in Ottawa. I get so many comments and get asked all the time where he is from. I know a colleague of mine contacted you and that was totally by coincidence as I had not yet given her you email contact info. I have not seen her since last week, so I do not know what she has decided to do.

Thanks very much and I have included a recent picture of Leo. When he is quiet, this is where I can find him... in the laundry basket, snoozing!

Take care,
Franca

Hi Adriana,

I hope you are your family enjoyed the holidays. Stanley is 5 months. He is doing well and continues to learn our rules. He had a field day with our Christmas tree. He is very smart and loves attention and going for walks.

If you have any recent shots of any of his siblings, we would love to see them. Stanley is approx. 40lbs now and I am curious how big the others are.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Cathy

Hello Adriana,

Ralphie's transition was smooth and easy. He cried once for a total of 5 minutes the first night! He has far exceeded our expectations, he is very smart and responsive. I'm proud to say he is fully potty-trained and has been going up and down stairs for more than a week now. He is growing so fast!!! He is a great traveller, and everywhere we take him people stop us all the time. He is the talk of the town! He is one lucky boy as he gets, and is surrounded by, lots of love. We took him to the cottage last weekend and introduced him to the lake, he is still a bit unsure of the water but I am sure that will change in no time.

Overall, we are extremely happy with Ralphie and would most definitely recommend Danjek to anybody looking to get a PWD. I would also like to thank you for calling him by his name before he came home, he responded to his name almost immediately!

We are in Hudson quite often so we will definitely stop by sometime so that you can see Mr Ralphie.

Best regards,
Stuart

Hi Adriana,

Hope all is well with you!

Lewis is growing like a weed and is doing great. He has been neutered the past week, and I just wanted to send along the certificate to you! Also wanted to send along a few pictures to show you how much he has grown in the past 6 months!

Lewis has been the highlight of each and every one of our days since bringing him home - he has such a great personality - Lauren and I can't imagine how we have lived our lives this far without a pal like Lewis! He's amazing.

I think he looks a lot like his dad, Diego!

Cheers,
Tyler
